Brass die casting
Induction melting is usually preferred for die casting brass. This form of melting produces less melt loss through slag formation, melts faster, has better control over brass composition and temperature, and the metal absorbs less gas.
Advantages include: corrosion resistance, even in brine applications. Resistant to high temperatures, even in burning buildings.
