Die-Casting Die
In die casting, a precision metal mold (die) is filled with molten metal at high speed under high pressure to instantly form a product (casting). The raw materials used include nonferrous alloys such as aluminum, magnesium and zinc.
Die casting is characterized by high dimensional accuracy and can produce thin-walled products with complex shapes in large quantities. The advantage of die casting is that less machining is required to produce a smooth casting surface after forming.
